New Neighbours in Song Wat: Le Labo

Some guests at MTCH™ may have noticed a small detail from Le Labo in our cafés. We were fortunate to be invited to the brand’s Amenity Program, bringing their products into the way we welcome our guests.

When we heard that Le Labo was opening a lab on Song Wat Road, we were even happier to become neighbours, almost side by side. We had the chance to visit and serve drinks and desserts for the opening, including a special menu we designed together.

For the opening, Le Labo brought back its City Exclusive Collection: 19 fragrances born in different cities around the world. Each is normally available only at the lab in its home city.

OSMANTHUS 19 from Kyoto brings to mind incense, lavender, warm woods and resin. GAIAC 10 from Tokyo has a soft, deep woody character, with layers of musk.

Personally, I especially like POIVRE 23 from London. Pepper is at its centre, yet it feels warm and deep, with an amber character that makes me want to explore it further.

If travelling from city to city to experience each fragrance feels out of reach, September offers another way. Once a year, during September only, the City Exclusive Collection comes together in every lab, giving people who love fragrance and travel a chance to experience the collection in one place.

In the original September announcement, the collection was available from 1–30 September at all five Le Labo locations in Bangkok. Those who already owned a City Exclusive fragrance could take it to the Ari lab for a refill.

Thank you very much to Le Labo and Pente Communications.
